Night 2 almost done

Hello everyone.  It's 11:15 PM here.  Some of the girls who were at the theatre with Mrs. Sutherland and Mrs. Sochacki are on their way back.

Mr. Gawel took one for the team and accompanied some of the kids who wanted to come back to the hotel.  The day really wiped some of them out.

Ms. Stein, Mrs. Austin, and I accompanied 19 travelers to a couple of different parts to London. We all went to Harrods, which is an obnoxiously large and posh department store and the travelers really enjoyed wandering around it until close.  We then took the tube to Piccadilly Square and the travelers got to enjoy some time in some of the stores there.  We then had a long ride in the tube and train because a train in front of us lost power.  We met a woman who moved here from Nebraska and she was quite friendly speaking to the students.  I enjoyed talking to some of the kids in a different manner than principal/student.

We had one traveler who left us for a while to spend some time with family members here which I think is absolutely great.  She is back with our group now.

The kids generally seem to be enjoying London and by and large are generally having a good time.  The agenda is certainly busy and experience-wise I think your children are getting your money's worth so far.  Becky is taking really good care of us and has really picked up everyone's names already.

Tomorrow we check out of our hotels early and head out to Winchester cathedral in the morning.  I doubt I will be able to update you again until tomorrow evening as we will be more countryside.
